Cool Blocks

Replace the original metal guide blocks on your band saw with Cool Blocks. Made of graphite impregnated phenolic laminate, Cool Blocks can be set closer to the blade to improve cutting accuracy of any blade width. The old metal guide blocks which normally come with the band saw, create heat and friction. This causes premature blade fatigue and breakage. Cool Blocks allow blades to run cooler and last longer with less friction.

Band Saw Fine Tuning Stone

One of the best ways to improve finish and blade performance from your bandsaw is to round the back edge of the blade with a band saw fine-tuning stone. You will be able to make tighter radius cuts, decrease heat, friction, and noise, thus decreasing blade and bearing life.
